We took part in the Good Climb Endurance Challenge as a preparation for the Yellowstone Gateway 30K.
The event offered three course options, ample fueling stations, upbeat music, and a supportive team of volunteers.
More importantly, the proceeds of the race go towards Mental Health awareness, which made the challenge even more worthwhile.
I thought that getting out with like minded people and trying to push myself, might help me better cope. The event was amazing.
I did way better than I ever thought I could. It gave me a new sense of confidence. Count me in for next year!
I knew that I wanted to eat out of my comfort zone and see just what I was made of.
The event was awesome. So many people just like me, out to get the most out of the day.
Great support, great swag and awesome people, and what a great cause! I can’t wait til next years event.
Running half marathons was my first entry into my journey toward improving my mental strength through exercise.
The Good Climb was my first time expanding that journey to endurance challenges.
Mental fortitude, that is what endurance challenges build for people. Pushing through the difficulty and sometimes the pain, to come out on top.
This event not only supports an amazing cause, it pushes you to confront your perceived limitations and move forward past them.
